GLOBAL HEALTH WEEK VIRTUAL SUMMIT

Thank you to everyone who joined us for PHANZ’s Global Health Week Virtual Summit. Over three days, we hosted 21 sessions featuring 27 speakers from Aotearoa and beyond. Topics included public health equity, Indigenous and migrant health, misinformation, mental health, immunisation, and culturally grounded care.

A heartfelt thanks to our presenters for sharing your knowledge, experiences, and inspiration, and to Ulugia Lealailepule Edward Cowley for expertly MCing with such energy and warmth.

While we face many public health challenges, the summit left us with renewed hope. A strong theme across the sessions was the power of connection and whanaungatanga—key to building trust and supporting our communities.
