PHA events are arranged by many different groups within the Association. In order to ensure that events do not clash, we encourage you to email details of your planned event (name, brief description and proposed date) to firstname.lastname@example.org as early in the planning process as possible. Our admin team will be able to advise of any clashes with other events organised by the PHA and our partners.

The Event Planning Form should be submitted to email@example.com at least four months before the event, for major events, and one month before the event for most other events.
The PHA website can manage event registration.
All events delivered by the PHA must be sponsored by a caucus, branch, special interest group or staff member. The sponsoring group or individual is responsible for ensuring that a plan, budget and risk assessment are undertaken. This will help ensure that PHA events are seen as credible and professional.
Events can be promoted through the PHA Newsletters, social media channels and website. Information on how to include your event on the PHA website are below.
To include an item in a PHA newsletter, please provide up to 100 words, an image and a link to firstname.lastname@example.org (The Bulletin; Public Health Matters), email@example.com (PolicySpot) or firstname.lastname@example.org (Whiria Te Tangata).
To add a post to our social media channels, please email email@example.com with the text for your post/s, any images and the preferred time and dates for posts. Posts should be 160 characters or less and will be made on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. You should consider whether you want to include a hashtag in your posts.
We have developed a template flyer for you to use to promote your event. The template has been developed in Microsoft Word to make it as accessible as possible. Please edit the template and save as a pdf before sharing it.
You can also develop your own flyer and other resources, please visit the Branding and Communications page to download the PHA style guide and logo.
The PHA office holds all national sponsorship relationships, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have suggestions for national partnerships or sponsorship.
Branches may develop local sponsorship relationships. Please ensure that all sponsorship approaches fit with the PHA Sponsorship Policy.

We encourage all groups within the PHA to evaluate their events. Event evaluations can be shared across the PHA so that we all learn from our collective experiences.
The PHA has a SurveyMonkey account, we can quickly and easily load a brief survey and send this to participants.
To set up an evaluation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the questions you want to include. For most events, we ask that you limit this to 10 questions or less. Please also provide an attendance list (Excel) that includes First Name, Last Name and Email Address of participants.
The evaluation questions should be sent to email@example.com at least 5 working days before your event. The survey will be sent out once a final attendance list is received. The results will be sent to you within 15 working days.
